Switching vinder – Cyperloup - IPL New Media Award

FCMM juryen præmierer Switching for dens innovative, cirkulære fortællestruktur samt dens sammensmeltning af film og interface. Juryen belønner Switching for dens komplekse psykologiske fortælling, hvor oplevelsen vokser for hver gang man ser den. Cyperloup prisen er vundet i kategorien New Media.

FCMM juryen skrev:
Switching processes a blurring of the boundaries between film and interface: in this disjointed story, a fragmentary, audience-activated playback creates a complex and enjoyable psychological labyrinth with no clear solution. The film offers the spectator to a new level of narrative responsability, not just in choosing jump-cuts along the storyline, but more important in putting these fragments together again into a unique experience that gives them meaning to the term ’point of view’. The jury considers that the enjoyment of the piece grows with each viewing and conciders that Switching’s interface reaches a new level of transparency.
